π What is the Universal Treatment Curriculum?
The UTC was developed by the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme in partnership with global experts, including NAADAC (The Association for Addiction Professionals) and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
The curriculum is designed to build the competencies of addiction treatment professionals by offering a structured, modular training system that addresses the full continuum of care for substance use disorders.
SAPTA College is an approved training provider of the UTC in Kenya, offering participants high-quality, contextualized delivery with access to certification through the Global Centre for Credentialing and Certification (GCCC).
